I decided to join an outdoor soccer team, and we had our first game yesterday and won 4 to 1. At first, I was hesitant to join the team just because I haven't played soccer in quite some time, and I didn't want to get too over worked and have it affect my training. After a week or so of contemplation, I decided to go for it and see how I like it, if anything it would be a great way to make myself run for 90 min. When I was younger I played soccer very competitively, we were ranked 3rd in the state for my travel team. I have always been a sprinter, so I was put as a forward to score. Yesterday the team I joined needed a sweeper, so that's the position I will be playing for the season. It is the last defender before the goalie. I had not only not played soccer in a long time, I have never played soccer defensively, all I used to do was sprint with the ball and score, so defense was a whole new game and position to learn. I felt really comfortable about 5 min into the game; it seemed like everything came back, it also helps that I am on the younger end of the players. Anyways, I had lots of fun and am really glad I joined, we play every Sunday. I feel a little sore today; hips and obliques, but worse of all my feet are killing me from my new cleats; lots of blisters.

B. 170#, I failed 170# before I got it, it was a very tough fail as I nearly passed out, I think I could potentially do 175# had I not exerted myself on the failed 170# attempt, I am surprised I was able to get 170# after the fail. 15# PR
