All over the news last night, it was supposed to be the "coldest" morning of the year this morning. I think it was 32 degrees (f) here when I was working out which is much colder than I am used to. People drive like maniacs, and since I did this at 7:30 this morning, I knew a good amount of cars would be on the road/ going to work and pulling in and out of driveways. In order to truly get close to an "all out" effort, I can't really run the normal 200m route because I worry about the cars pulling out of the nearby business parking lots and not looking for someone running by. So to get the 200m runs done without having to worry about getting hit by a car, I ran up our parking lot and to the building behind, this is an uphill run but it was the smarter choice. I definitely felt the uphill, especially on sets 3-5, but nothing too crazy because 200m is over pretty quickly. Sets 3-5 were much harder on the run, felt pretty tired and a lot less powerful/quick in my strides but the times remained relatively close.
