Yesterday I did 11.3 (5 min AMRAP squat clean & jerk @ 110#) My goal was to get at least 25 reps. I ended up completing 27 reps and a squat clean for a total of 55 points. I am happy with my performance. The prior two work outs wore me out mentally, and I had a feeling I would do well in this work out because it is short and on the heavier side. I did the work out in a competition atmosphere at Crossfit Moxie. The support from Moxie, Brethren, and Cadence was awesome. The picture to the right was taken by Dave S from cadence. There was a tie for first place with 28 reps and 1 squat clean, and I followed with 27 reps and 1 squat clean for 3rd place.
I am excited to see next week's work out, and hope to continue to perform well. I would like to see muscle ups, handstand push ups, and a max lift come up within the next 3 work outs, but who knows! I took today off from training. 11.3 wore me out, it was the worst lung burn feeling I have ever had, although the feeling did not set in until a few minutes after the work out. Back to training tomorrow!
