notes: really happy to hit a 200# split jerk. My goal of 200# clean and jerk is right around the corner. Definitely feeling stronger than ever, especially my shoulders which have always been pretty strong compared to the rest of my body. 200# is a +25# pr since i have started working with Michael and I will continue to split jerk much more. Form is still not perfect which means I'm still somewhat far away from my potential, which is good in the sense that I can lift more than 200#!
PM - Swimming MAP
10 x Swim 50 meters hard, rest as needed to keep lap times constant
This was really tough. Such a difference between 25 and 50m. My times were right around 42sec and i felt good for about 6 of these, the last 4 were really tough, although I felt rested, my strokes were sloppy and I was just pretty fatigued. Can't wait to watch Michael Phelps this summer in the olympics to get an idea of what swimming should really be like :) I definitely have a new found appreciation for swimmers... running is tough but you can breathe whenever you want... swimming is truly difficult considering you have to plan your breaths among everything else.
